Work Trade Membership Application

Work trade memberships are offered in 3-month terms and are designed for folks who want to contribute to the care of the studio in exchange for a membership at Denver Clayroom.

3-Month Work Trade Term

• One 2.5-hour cleaning shift per week

• Free 3-month individual membership and access to house reclaim clay

• Bagged clay available at standard member pricing

Extension Option

• At the end of the 3-month term, members may request a 3-month extension

• Extensions require mutual agreement and must be confirmed at least two weeks before the end of the first 3-month term

Work trade memberships are limited to two participants per 3-month term.

Cleaning duties 

Subject to change each week but may include:

• Laundry

• Empty clay traps

• Clean toilets and sinks / refill soap

• Wipe counters and sinks

• Clean wheels / splash pans / extruder / wedging table

• Mop floors

• Take out trash

• Assist with clay reclaim

• Mix glazes
