Studio Workshop with Erica Passage

Service Description

Join us for a workshop and artist talk with Erica Passage as she shares her approach to surface decoration and functional form. In this 4-hour session, Erica will demonstrate and discuss her processes for Mishima inlay, sgraffito, underglaze techniques, underglaze decals, and handle making, offering insight into both technique and creative decision-making. Participants are encouraged to bring leatherhard pottery if they’d like to focus on handle making, and bone dry work for surface decoration using underglaze and decals. There will be time to observe demonstrations, ask questions, and apply techniques to your own pieces. The workshop will take place from 10:00am–2:30pm and includes a 30-minute lunch break. Enrollment is limited to 20 participants to ensure an engaging and supportive learning environment.
