Beginner/Intermediate Level Handbuilding Class

355 US dollars
1553 Platte St, Unit C100

Service Description

Monday evenings (6:30pm-9pm) Whether you have a full backyard garden, a sunny balcony, or just a few beloved houseplants, this 6-week handbuilding class is all about creating ceramic pieces that bring beauty and function to your growing spaces. Using pinch, coil, and slab-building techniques, students will design and build a collection of garden-inspired work. Think small planters and matching plates, coiled watering cans or flower vases, plant pots and tags, berry bowls, and fruit or veggie baskets. Along the way, we’ll explore surface design techniques including underglaze, sgraffito, slips, and oxides to add personality and detail to your pieces.
